Condolence: Too young, too soon, too nice a guy. I'll miss talking with Vernon on my walks. He was always out tending his gardens - I envied his energy. I was sorry to have missed the service as I only found out today and we live 2 doors down from him. Our deepest sympathies to his family and Joan.

Condolence: Vernon will truly be missed. I had the pleasure of sharing dances with him at the Promenade. He was always a gentleman and had a wonderful sense of humor. I admired his work on "Vernon's Woods" and enjoyed hearing stories of his travels with Joan. May Peace be with his loved ones. God Bless
