Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michael Sater can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: George Gutzmer
Condolence: Dear Barb and all of Mike's extended family and friends. Please accept on my behalf the condolences of the Disabled American Veterans Department of Utah. Many of us knew and worked with Mike over the years through the DAV C&A association. I was blessed to work with Mike and both loved and respected Him greatly. Mike was a fighter for Veterans issues and those of their families. His Legacy walks around us in all those He helped, and in turn became advocates for Veterans themselves. It was an absolute Honor to know and work with Mike (MD). May He rest in peace, and may the love and support of our heavenly Father be with all of You at this time. Cherish the memories.

Condolence From: Barbra Swann
Condolence: As Voluntary Service Specialist at the Loch Raven VA, I would like to express my condolences to the Family and friends of Mr. Sater. He worked diligently to make certain that the Veterans received excellent assistance from the Disabled American Veterans organization. He was very "hands on" and wanted to personally make certain our Residents received the best supportive non-patient care. Thank you Mr. Sater. You will be missed!

Condolence From: George W. Owings III, Secretary, Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs
Condolence: On behalf of the Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs, it is with deep regret that we learned of the passing of one of our own, so to speak. Mike was an inspiration to the Department, but also an active member of one of our commissions, the Maryland Military Monuments Commission. As an active member of just about every service organization there is, I got to see him quite a bit this summer at the conventions in Ocean City. I and all those who knew him and even those who didn't, but benefited from his activism, will miss him.
Our prayers and thoughts to to Mike and the entire Sater family.
