We just loved Aunt Kassie. I can remember being so excited when Mom would say Aunt Kassie and Aunt Dot were coming to visit Granny. It was her sweet spirit and joyful love that brought us all close to her. I am so grateful God allowed Aunt Kassie to come back to Chincoteague this past summer for Granny's birthday. It was such a sweet blessing to see her again. To be able to give her a hug and smile and just to talk a while with her. I am sitting here with a smile on my face now just thinking about it. Aunt Kassie will be missed by so many. I give glory to God that today we know she is laughing and singing in glory with all the family members that have gone on before and she will be there to greet the rest of us when we are called home.
