Obituary for Daniel Euler Sr.

Daniel Keith Euler, Sr., (aka Willis) "Weatherman Dan", 54 of Hampstead, passed on surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Dove House in Westminster.

Born March 24, 1955 in Baltimore, he was the son of LaVerne Lynn Euler of Hampstead and the late William Earle Euler, Sr.


He was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and was a former employee of BGE for over 20 years and was currently employed by Development Facilitators Inc. as a construction inspector.


He was a member of the American Legion Post 200; a charter member of the American Legion Riders and a member of the Eagles Riders Group, Littlestown.


Twice married, he is survived by former wives Lynne Bare of Manchester and Michele M. Euler of Hampstead. Also surviving is son, Daniel K Euler, Jr. of Hampstead, daughters, Danielle M. Euler of Manchester, Laura C. VanHorn and her husband Michael of Hampstead, and Heather R. Euler of Hampstead; a brother William Earle Euler Jr. and his wife Bonnie; 3 grand children, Jacob and Ryan VanHorn and Daisy Lynne Brushwood. He is also survived by his devoted companion, Lin Matthews of Hampstead and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Ronald Lynn Euler.


A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday January 26 at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead.


FAMILY REQUESTS YOU DRESS IN CASUAL CLOTHES, AS DAN WOULD HAVE REMEMBERED YOU.


The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, January 25, at Eline Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Legion Post 200, P.O. Box 292 Hampstead, MD 21074.
