William W. “Bill” Hedrick, 67, of Reisterstown, passed away on January 1, 2017 in Westminster, MD. He was born on February 27, 1949 in Wytheville, VA to the late James and Alma June (nee Webb) Hedrick. He was married to Susan “Susy” Hedrick.

At the age of 1, he contracted polio and his family moved from Wytheville, VA to Roanoke, VA. He attended Northside High School and was a graduate of VA Tech. He began singing in bands in high school and most recently with “The Billy Hedrick Band”. Mr. Hedrick was a longtime golfer and he was a coach for recreational sports. He was an active member of the Reisterstown United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Susan Hedrick of Reisterstown; daughter Jennifer Hedrick of Hanover, PA; son John Hedrick and his wife Corrin of Reisterstown; grandsons Dylan, Cooper, Jackson and William; siblings Geary Hedrick, Janice Shifflett, Helen St. Claire, Mike Hedrick, Pam Ramey and Gail St. Clair. Predeceased by sister Faye Snow.

Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Friday 3-5 & 7-9pm. Service will be held on Saturday 12:30pm at the Reisterstown United Methodist Church, 246 Main Street, Reisterstown, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Department, 108 Main Street, Reisterstown, MD 21136 or the Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157. Interment in Reisterstown Methodist Cemetery.
