Obituary for Manjulaben R. Patel

Manjulaben R. Patel
Manjulaben Ramanbhai Patel passed away on Tuesday, December 13th 2016 at her home at the age of 80, surrounded by her entire family.

Manjulaben was born on February 15th, 1936 in Gada, Gujarat, India. She married Ramanbhai Patel and they established their home and family in Nadiad. In 1985, she moved to America to be with her children and grandchildren.

She was the second child amongst 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
She loved to travel.
She was a money saver but never hoarded it; she would always distribute it amongst her 7 grandchildren and any other little child she came across.
Manjuben’s favorite foods were pickled chili peppers, rotla and papdi nu shak, ratlami sev, jalebi (which she hid in pockets since she was a diabetic), and mangoes.

She was a representation of the perfect woman who lived and breathed solely for her family and her God. A great daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother – whatever role she played, she was THE BEST.

She was:
A generous and caring friend (She gave to all in need)
An excellent cook (I am sure everyone would agree)
A great teacher (She always led you to the right path)

Manjuben is the thread that keeps our whole family together. She may not be present physically but she will always be the thread that winds through each of us and binds us together.
