Ethel Margie Myers, 85, of Hampstead, died Saturday June 6, 2015 at the Gilchrist Center for Hospice Care in Towson.

Born June 9, 1929 in Hampstead, she was the daughter of the late Walter Jesse and Treva Stoffle Rill. She was the wife of the late Melvin William Myers, who died in 1980.

She retired from Black & Decker after over 30 years. Following retirement, she had worked as a tour guide for Rohrbaugh's Charter Service. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Hampstead. She enjoyed cross-stitching, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles and bluegrass music. She was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Maryland Terrapins basketball teams.

Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Donald W. and Brenda Myers of Westminster and Douglas E. and Sue Myers of Manchester; brothers, Earl Rill, Raymond Rill, George Rill, Sr., Norman Rill, all of Hampstead, and Russell Rill of Hanover, Pa., sisters, Ruth Cooper of Hampstead, and Martha Feeser of Millers; sister-in-law, Louise Ruby of Manchester; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by daughter, Martha and her husband, Sterling Rill; son, Dennis Myers; brothers, William, Noah, Paul, Sterling and Ralph Rill and sister, Mary Dull.

The family will receive friends Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 3100 Shiloh Road, Hampstead with her pastor, the Rev. Barbara Allen officiating. Interment will be in Shiloh United Methodist Cemetery.
