Obituary for William S. Marriott Jr.

William S.  Marriott Jr.
William S. Marriott, Jr., 90, of Reisterstown passed away on August 19, 2014 in Carroll Hospital Center. He was born on November 16, 1923 in Baltimore, MD to the late William S. Marriott, Sr. and Ruth Marriott. He was married to Iris Marriott.
He worked at Clendenin Brothers as a General Sales Manager for over 50 years. He was an Army Veteran and received 2 Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart with an Oak Leaf Cluster. Mr. Marriott was an avid animal lover.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son William S. Marriott, III of Reisterstown and daughter Jody Iris Schroeder of Manchester, his sister Ida May Tomlinson of Quincy, PA, grandsons Francis Sawyer (Tadd) and Bradley Thomas Gaskill, William S. Marriott, IV, Adam C. and Justin D. Marriott and L. Craig Schroeder and twelve great grandchildren. Also survived by a large extended family. Predeceased by sisters Ilene Rush and Lucille Webster.
Family will receive friends at the ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown on Thursday 3-5 & 7-9pm. Service will be held on Friday 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.Interment in Loudon Park Cemetery.
