The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy Marshall can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

precious stone

if you did not know Dorothy , as i called her Dottie, you missed out on knowing a living diamond. Flawed yet beautiful! I had the privilede of studying the bible with her. She loved as she refered to as ' the word'.

I got to learn that Dottie loved her family each brother and sister individually. With 14  brothers and  sisters' that was not an  easy task'. She loved her parents respectfully,  she  loved  her  children  unconditionally'  Which  meant  if  she had  it to  give  to  you she  gave  it to  you.  In  her  words " I got  you "

After  we  went over the family  portion she said  "If  i had this  i  could  have been a better wife"'    love was an action word for   Dottie. Once  when she could not  love  her  sister  Mary  by herself she  called and asked  could  i  pray to  Jehovah for  Mary ( she had pnemonia)'  Of course i said'. When Mary recovered she called  exciited  Mary  is  better. I  said good  now  what do  we do? We say  thank  you'. She was an excellent student.

We did  have  our  disagreements  such as she fussed about having to wear  a   dress  to  the Kingdom Hall'     Finally  she  said  i will be  there in  a pants suit'. i  said fine. and on April 11, 2017 ( the Memorial of Christ eath ).  Dottie showed  up in the  prettiest  blue dress i had ever  seen. She was beautiful  yet  flawed.  A  precious  stone.  i  will miss you Dottie until John 5:  28, 29 is fullfilled.   LOVE YOU ROBIN MARSHALL
