Frederick Joseph Cook, 61, of Finksburg, MD passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on June 22, 2017. Born May 8, 1956 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Frederick John Cook, Jr and Anna May (Rowland) Cook; and the devoted husband of Micki Cook.

Fred worked as a CNC Precision Set-Up Machinist at Tag Engineering, Inc. Fred enjoyed working in his yard, reading, smoking fine cigars and spending quality time with family & friends. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Fred is survived by Micki Cook, his beloved wife of 28 years; daughter, Hailey Nicole Cook of Finksburg, MD; two sons: Justin Tyler Welsh and wife Sarah Stuart of Taneytown, MD, MSgt Joshua Adam Welsh, USMC and wife Tara of Richlands, NC; two granddaughters: Jamison Welsh, Mercedez Welsh; grandson, Rocco Welsh; sister, JoAnn Costa and husband Joe of Perry Hall, MD; brother, Mark Cook of Johnstown, PA; mother-in-law, Louanne Moberly; three brother-in-laws, Tim Herculson, Jeff Herculson, Michael Palmer; two sister-in-laws,: Heather Palmer, Marlene Herculson; niece, Jessica Rose Cook; nephew, Joey Costa.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 2901 Bloom Rd, Finksburg, MD.

Memorials are suggested to The William E. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center, 291 Stoner Ave, Westminster, MD.
