A Great Man

We moved into our house which was built on an hay field. The grass was so high that we couldn't keep up with the mowing. One day this short little man came over on his tractor and started cutting the grass. We thanked him and found out that he was our neighbor and his name was Ray Belt. After that we became very good friends.  We would hear a little John Deer mower coming across the lawn and we knew that it was Ray. Our grandkids would call out and say, here comes Mr Ray.  Our dog would here him coming and would jump up and down to see him. Ray was a very nice person to know and have as a friend. We spent many days just talking, or he would help us out with anything we needed help with, and we would help him out when he needed help.  This man was like a father to Wayne and knew how to do most anything. So after 28 years, we will have to say goodbye, but he will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace Ray.
