The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Francis Coppersmith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Walter Coppersmith

Aunt Phyllis, Patsy, Chuck and Kay Francis, Barbara, Tyler and I send our deepest sympathies on your loss this week of "Bud". Bud was a friendly, good-hearted, compassionate man. I will always remember the time spent as a boy in the garden, the personal greetings at every family reunion, the optimism even in difficult circumstances, and the sharing of life's adventures at the Coppersmith brother's breakfast get togethers. Though we never got to talk personally about his WWII service, I recall a couple of years ago at the hospital where he was visiting my father Art, the time he spent talking to a woman who had lost her dad, also a WWII vet. Bud made an instant connection and the two talked about the sacrifices made and the life they came home to build and appreciate with their families. May you find comfort in knowing that Bud is no longer suffering, he is now able to see and is fully alive in the presence of his Heavenly Father. Our hearts go out to you today and we too will miss Uncle Bud.
