John David Gaskins, 65, of Woodbridge, VA, formerly of Hyattsville, MD passed away on January 11, 2017. He was born on July 18, 1951 in Baltimore, MD to the late Lee and Elizabeth (nee Henderson) Gaskins. He was married to Linda Gaskins.

He was a long haul truck driver.

He is survived by his wife: Linda Gaskins; son Renault Gaskins of Baltimore, MD; son Aaron Dorsey of Baltimore, MD; daughter Keena Carter of CA; son Jermeyer Gaskins of CA; son Joshua and his wife Elleta Gaskins of Denver, CO; 7 grandchildren; siblings Lethey Couch, Ema Lou Fields, Chyanne James, Florance James, Sadie Foster, Loni Howe and Edmond Turner. Pre-deceased by daughter Nicole Gaskins and 1 sister & 5 brothers.
