Carroll Edward Kelbaugh, 86, of Parkton, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Carroll Hospital Center. Born November 14, 1930 in Parkton, he was the son of the late Harry and Bertha (Cole) Kelbaugh. Twice married, he was the husband of LeEsta Mays Kelbaugh and the late Adela Marion Kelbaugh .

He was a graduate of Sparks High School in 1947 and had been a farmer, a bus driver and a custodian. He enjoyed antique cars and tractors.

Surviving are sons, Thomas E. Kelbaugh and wife Kathleen of Hampstead and James L. Kelbaugh and wife Diane of Hampstead; sisters, Bernice and Marie; grandchildren, Megan, Joseph, Camryn, and Adela Kelbaugh.

He was predeceased by a son, John C. Kelbaugh in 2007 and siblings Harry, Mildred, Paul, Joseph, Frank and Joshua.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 9, 2017, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, MD. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm with Rev. Steven Badorf officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Maryland Steam Historical Society, Inc., P.O. Box 91, Upperco, MD 21155.
