John Joseph McGuire, Jr., 90, of Pikesville, MD passed away on January 4, 2017 in Baltimore, MD. He was born on January 16, 1926 in Baltimore, MD to the late John Joseph McGuire, Sr. and Florence (nee Worthington) McGuire. He was married to the late Shirley “Ann” (nee Orlando) McGuire.

Mr. McGuire worked for Keystone Electric as an electrician for 48 years. He was a WWII Navy veteran.

He is survived by son Robert J. McGuire and his wife Peggy of Centerville, OH; son Richard J. McGuire of Pikesville, MD; daughter Georgie McGuire Ball and her husband Michael of Ellicott City, MD; son Joseph Guy McGuire of Westminster; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister Helen Zahn of Hanover, PA; brother Robert McGuire of Glen Burnie; brother Charles R. McGuire of Westminster. Predeceased by sister Marjorie Crooks and brother Billy Lee McGuire.

Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Sunday 12:30-1:30pm. Service will begin at 1:30pm at the funeral home. Interment in All Saints’ Cemetery.
