Alice “Sue” Redding, 79, of Reisterstown passed away on September 8, 2016 at her home. She was born on August 8, 1937 in Baltimore, MD to the late Witmer and Ola Mae (nee Kidwell) Jefferson. She was married to Robert Richard “Dick” Redding for 60 years.
Mrs. Redding had worked for Baltimore County Public Library. She was an active member of the Reisterstown United Methodist Church and a former member of the Salem United Methodist Church, Hebbville, MD She was an avid reader and an excellent cook. She loved singing, doing puzzles and camping.
She is survived by her husband Robert Richard “Dick” Redding of Reisterstown; daughter Kathy Adamez of Hampstead; son David Redding and his wife Patricia Redding of Westminster; son Michael Redding and his wife Lisa Redding of Street, MD; brother “Wayne” Jefferson of Johnson City, TN; brother in law and sister in law Kenneth Redding and Sharlayne Redding; grandchildren Jennifer, Joshua, Joel, Julianne, Joseph, Jamylyn, Jacob, Rebekah, Brandon, Laura, Sean and Heather; also survived by 13 great grandchildren. Predeceased by son in law Michael G. Adamez; sister Jane J. Frazier; brother Robert W. Jefferson; sister Margaret J. Albright and great grandson Caleb M. Lewis.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Sunday 3-5 & 7-9pm. Service on Monday 10am at the funeral home. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
