Message: Dad, will be missed every second of every day. He touched so many people's lives in so many different ways and always left a positive mark. As a father he was the best, he was my hero, my example of the man that I wanted to become. He taught us to be courteous and to never to ask for anything and to not expect a thing, if it was offered then we could accept. He taught us to work hard and to earn what we wanted. He was always there for us and always encouraged us to be our best and to do the best we could, second best wasn't good enough. Dad we'll all be together again someday, until then you will continue to live through each of your children because you are such a large piece of all of us.

Message: Dad, you were a great Dad and Granddad and we miss you so much. I know you did not understand Social Media, but your grandchildren wrote such beautiful words of tribute to you. You will be missed everyday and were such an important piece of why they are the wonderful people they have grown to be. Rest now Dad, I know you are at peace and having a hoot with Uncle Jack, Uncle Ben, Uncle David, Uncle Herbert and Aunt Jane. I am certain they were all waiting for you. Nothing will be the same without you, especially the holidays. We will remember your laughter, your love, the knicknames you gave us all, all of your sayings and how you strove to take care of us. Your generosity in giving to others, volunteering will never be forgotten. You are surrounded by love.
