Joan Agnes McGuire, 80, of Reisterstown, passed away on March 28, 2016. She was born on September 3, 1935 in Emmitsburg, MD to the late Bernard and Helen (nee Bowers) Walter. She was married to Francis X. McGuire.
Mrs. McGuire had been 5th grade teacher at Hampton Elementary School and worked at the Reisterstown Public Library for over 20 years. She enjoyed needle point and gardening.
She is survived by her husband Francis X. McGuire; daughter Theresa McGuire of Parkville; daughter Colleen and her husband John Bacinski of Hampstead; son Francis X., Jr. and his wife Marie McGuire of Westminster; son Michael and his wife Kristen McGuire of Towson; grandchildren Stephanie, Dorothy, Christine, Erin, Brady, Adeline and Garrett; great grandchild Savannah; brothers Bernard and Francis “Hank” Walter; sister Margaret “Peggy” Karasa.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Thursday 3-5 & 7-9pm.
