Dear Ralph,
Your dear wife was the light in any dark room and for you she lit up your world. I know you will miss her every minute of every day but I also know she will always live in our hearts and our memories. I know she was so grateful to have you by her side for 43 years but especially in the worst of times. Your tender love and care these past few years and months show what a great husband you've been and explains why your marriage was so strong. It was a joy to hear her talk about her family. She was so proud of Doug and Krista and the fine people they have grown up to be. She loved Mia and those grandboys and was so grateful to be called Maw by little Luke and wanted desperately to watch him and baby Joachim grow up. I think she still will - your angel has gone to live in the Kingdom of God but will watch closely. I know I still plan to talk to her as I have for many years when times are good and when times are rough. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you grieve. Know that you are loved.
Love,
Marlene
