Obituary for Barbara A. Myers (Hales)

Barbara A. Myers, 77 of Reisterstown, beloved wife of the late John G. Myers passed away at her home on November 28, 2015. She was born on October 26, 1938 in Baltimore to the late Eppie Powell Hales and Ellen (nee DeLuca) Hales.

She worked as a banker for Provident Bank. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Owings Mills.

She is survived by daughter Diane Blank of Owings Mills, son John Eckert of Las Vegas, son Randy Eckert of Cartersville, Ga, son Craig Eckert of Locust Grove, Va, daughter Wendy Eckert Garrett of Hot Springs, AK and step-daughter Pamela Rhoten of SC. Sister of Patricia Murray of Ava, MO, & Bruce Smith of South Carolina. She was predeceased by daughter Kimberly Ann Monath and brother Joseph P. Hales. She is also survived by granddaughter and care-giver Kristy Redmond, 19 additional grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 11:00am at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Owings Mills. Interment private. If desired, contributions may be made to the Baltimore Humane Society, 1601 Nicodemus Rd, Reisterstown, MD 21136
