Blanche Evelyn Ayres, 80, of Butler, passed away on November 12, 2015 at the Dove House in Westminster. Born June 10, 1935 in Riderwood, MD, she was the daughter of the late John and Blanche (Bosley) Redman. She was the wife of Norman Lee Ayres, Sr. who died in 2012.

She was a member of Falls Road United Methodist and the Ladies Auxiliary of Butler Vol. Fire Dept.

Surviving are daughters, Teresa Petenbrink and husband Arnold of Westminster, MD, and Brenda Lee Bova and husband Michael of Sparks, MD; sons, Norman L. Ayres, Jr. and wife Vicki Darlene of White Hall, MD, and Robert W. Ayres of Parkton, MD; granddaughter, Nikki Lee McGinnis and husband Aaron; grandson, Eric Petenbrink and fiance Jessica Snyder; and sisters, Nancy Peake, and Dianne Tasto; brother, John Redman.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 16, 2015, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, Hampstead. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Chris Brammer officiating. Interment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave, Westminster, MD 21157.
