The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sarah Higgins can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Sarah was a friend to me when I was a very lost freshman at NDP. She called me her little shadow and would recite the poem when we passed in the halls. Even though we weren't incredibly close as time passed, I loved when her comments appeared via facebook to congratulate, encourage and support me through all of my major life milestones... I appreciated it all, and I feel confident that she was aware of the great work she did to make us all our better selves.
