Obituary for Harry L. Weaver

Harry L. Weaver, 95, of Finksburg, died Saturday June 6, 2015 at his home.

Born July 10, 1919 in Finksburg, he was the son of the late Charles Lewis and Anna Ryan Weaver. He was the husband of the late Esther L. Weaver, who died in 2009.

He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a farmer and also worked in construction. He was a member of the Maryland Steam Historical Society, the Carroll County Farm Bureau and Wesley United Methodist Church.

Surviving are son and daughters-in-law, C. Richard and Lila Weaver of Finksburg; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Wayne Horner of Hampstead, MD; grandsons, Christopher Weaver and his wife Megan, Gregory Horner and his girlfriend Courtney Miller, Aaron Horner and his wife Lauren, Chip Weaver and his fiance Sarah Ziethen; granddaughter, Lindsay Baumiller and her husband Dan; great-granddaughters, Madilyn Baumiller and Mackenzie Weaver.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3239 Carrollton Road, Hampstead, with his pastor, the Rev. Amy Sarah Lewis-Rill officiating. Inurnment will be in Wesley United Methodist Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Restoration Fund of Wesley United Methodist Church, 3239 Carrollton Road, Hampstead, MD 21074.
