Obituary for Thomas Leo Snyder
Thomas Leo Snyder, 76, of Hampstead, died Wednesday June 3, 2015 at his home.
Born February 8, 1939 in Cockeysville, he was the son of the late Walter Stanley and Elizabeth Frances Chimper Snyder. He was the husband of Bettyjane Wilson Snyder, his wife of 53 years.
Prior to retirement, he had worked as a machine operator for Maryland Specialty Wire. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cockeysville.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his daughter, Shelley Lee Ordway of Hampstead; son, Howard Kirk Snyder of York, Pa.; brother, Albert Leroy Snyder of Reisterstown, MD; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with John W. Carver officiating. Interment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
