When I was little, Mommy would drop me off every Wednesday at Grandma and Grandpa's house to visit while she ran errands. Grandma and I (and later, my siblings) would have so much fun together that she called every visit a Wonderful Wednesday.
Grandma had such an imagination, and it's amazing how many activities we could cram into just one day! During most visits, we would play with Mega Blocks, and she would help me build the same town over and over again: There was always the library, the restaurant, and the Martin's store. When it was naptime, she would put me in her bed, read me a story, give me a "tickle" on my arm, and stare with me at the mobile in her bedroom until we both fell asleep. After our nap, we would play games or go on a walk, until finally it was dinnertime and time for me to go home. I always had so much fun at Grandma's house, and I know that she had as much (if not more) fun, just being with me and my siblings. Thank you, Grandma, for making Wednesdays so absolutely WONDERFUL and for giving me such joyful memories! I love you and miss you so much.
