He loved his son's cooking.
I only met your dad recently, but he made me laugh. He was recouperating at a facility and complaining about the food. The fish didn't taste like fish! He really missed his son's (Jeff's) cooking. You were so dear to him Jeff, and he was so lucky to have you. He had a long happy life because of you and I know you will miss him.
