Virginia Emma Bowers, 86, of Reisterstown passed away on October 7, 2021. She was born on February 1, 1935 in Baltimore, MD to the late Abraham E. and Helen Kendig Bowers.

She was an office worker at Gettier-Montanye in Glyndon for 50 years, retiring December 2002. She had attended Deer Park United Methodist Church in Reisterstown where she had been a member for 71 years at the time of its closing June 30, 2020. Prior to her illness, her interests included needlework, especially crocheting, baking and flower gardening.

She is survived by her sister and caregiver, Margaret F. Bowers, friend and caregiver, David “Trip” Clements, 2 goddaughters Mary “Bonnie” Stroh Bajkowski and Laurie Anne Webb White and numerous cousins.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 3pm to 5pm at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD. Service will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, 11am at the funeral home. Masks are required by family for visitation and funeral. Interment in Reisterstown United Methodist Church Cemetery.
