Obituary for Terry Lee Stocksdale
Terry Lee Stocksdale, 60, of Hampstead, MD passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
Born August 20, 1962 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Arthur Elmer Stocksdale, III and Blanche Elizabeth (Smith) Stocksdale. He was the husband of Darlene Stocksdale, his wife of 22 years.
Terry was a lifelong farmer. He was currently running his own farming business and was employed by Lippy Brothers Farms. He was a life member of the Arcadia Volunteer Fire Company (now Upperco Volunteer Fire Company), with over 49 years of service.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his sister, Karen Coleman and her fiancé Mitch Haines of Hanover, PA; nieces and their spouses, Kelly and Charlie Hertz, Katelyn and Tyler Seigman, and Karley Coleman; and great-nieces, Hayden Hertz and Lincoln Seigman.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael C. Adams officiating. Interment will be in Wesley United Methodist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Upperco Volunteer Fire Company, P. O. Box 7, Upperco, MD 21155-0007.
