Obituary for Suzanne Mary Mackinnon
Suzanne Mary Mackinnon of Manchester, MD passed peacefully on March 24, 2023 in her home surrounded by loved ones.
A native of Homer, New York, she was the daughter of Leo and Mary Miller and the beloved wife of Allan Mackinnon. She worked as a special education teacher for many years in both New York and Maryland.
Suzanne (Sue) was an accomplished golfer and an animal lover with impeccable taste in antiques and home decor but her greatest joy in life was her family. Keeping tabs on her five children, fourteen grandchildren and six great-grand children was her favorite past time.
She is preceded by her daughter Linda Kessel, her grandson Matthew Paul Beaudette, her brother William Miller, her husband Allan Mackinnon and her parents. She is survived by her children: Suzanne Markensen (Gary) , Raymond Young (Tammy) , Mary Fitzgerald (Matthew McGeever), Jennifer Consalvi (Peter) and son in law Kenneth Kessel.
