Obituary for Susan C. Doering (Meiser)
Susan C Doering (Meiser), 67 of Sykesville passed away; Wednesday December 16, 2020 at Morningside House Satyr Hill in Parkville, MD. She was born July 19, 1953 to the late Lewis Meiser Jr. and Edith (nee Caton) Meiser. She was preceded in death by her late husband David Gibson of Clarksville, MD, they both met at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab where she worked for over 20 years.
Susan graduated from Franklin High School in Reisterstown and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico. She had a passion for Art, was an avid traveler and had a great affection for all animals, especially her cats.
She is survived by brothers John Meiser and wife Leslie of Parkville, MD and Steven Meiser and wife Colleen of Salisbury, MD; niece and nephews Wendi Meiser Horne and husband Scott, Terrin Mitchell and husband Chris, Ryan Meiser and wife Pamela and Kelly Meiser and great niece and nephews Johnathan Greim, Caden and Decker Mitchell, and Lily and Luke Meiser.
A private Interment and service will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park in Sykesville, MD.
