Obituary for Sean Michael Reilly
On December 12, 2021, Sean Michael Reilly, 54, passed away at his home in Hydes, MD. Beloved husband of Kirsten Reilly; devoted father of Megan Reilly; loving son of John M. Reilly (wife Beverly) and Judith Kraynek (husband Bruce); dear brother of Tracy Goralczyk (husband Joseph), Michele Yelton (husband Kenneth Taylor), and Patrick Reilly (wife Kristen); caring uncle of nieces Lauren Swensen (husband Ian), Ashley Yelton, Lindsey Murphy (husband Dylan), Sarah Yelton, Hannah Goralczyk, Kaitlyn Stuart, and nephews Scott Carnegie, Jr., Vincent Reilly, Ian Goralczyk and Preston Reilly; affectionate great-uncle of many dear great-nieces and nephews.
Sean was a graduate of North Carroll High School. He was an athlete in high school, playing football, baseball, and winning many awards in wrestling. He attended Slippery Rock, Towson, and Stevenson University and was a member of Lambda Chi Fraternity. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves in the Infantry. He worked for many years in Customer Service for Database and MCI/WorldCom. He also held various positions in merchandising and sales over the years. Sean had a natural inclination for helping others and enjoyed using his technology skills to assist others with troubleshooting computers and filing taxes. He will always be remembered by his friends and family as being a talented cook. He enjoyed blessing others with a delicious meal and great conversation. Sean had a wonderful sense of humor and could make others laugh easily.
A viewing will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, 11:00 am at the funeral home with Minister Todd Dildine officiating. Interment will follow at Hampstead Cemetery.
