Dear Duffy family,
I have very fond memories of Sandy when we were in nursing school at CHH together. She was always kind, charitable, and sweet-natured. I never heard her raise her voice or speak unkindly of anyone. She stayed calm and diligent as she went through school and became an excellent nurse. Sandy was a beautiful person both inside and out, and will be missed greatly.
I’m sure she is happy to be at peace now and free of pain.
How wonderful that she can be with her sweetheart Don and I am sure that she will always be mindful of her family here on earth. Fondly, Lynn Fosse Demos

To the Duffy Family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Mother. She was a classmate at CHH, a friend and, for a few brief weeks, a roommate just prior to her marriage to your Dad. Cherish those wonderful memories of your Mom and grandmom and hold them close to your heart so as to give you solace as you mourn.
Rest In Peace Sandy.
God Bless
Monique Rittenhouse Hampton

Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of such a wonderful human being. One of the favorite things about knowing Ms. Sandy was that my memories of her are from a time in my life when everything was simple and happy. As we age and our childhood memories tend to blend, her kindness towards me and my family continues to stand out. May God bless her and may He be with her family in this time of grief. David Seebold and family.

Dear Don, Charmie, Michelle, Erika, Emma, and Ellen, and Katrina, Teresa, and Candy - I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved mom, sister, and grandma. When alphabetical order placed us together as roommates at The Church Home and Hospital School of Nursing, we began a friendship that has continued for 56 years. Two small-town teenaged girls in the big city did OK for themselves! Our nursing class has been close, with the locals getting together once or twice a year; Sandy was always at the heart of that. Her loving spirit and sense of humor will be missed, for sure. With love from Dee Royster Swope
