Ruthanna Miller Vleck, 97, of New Windsor, MD passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at the Bethania Home Care in Westminster, MD.
Born April 1, 1925 in Marston, MD, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Fanny (née Brown) Miller. She was the wife of the late Franklin V. Vleck, Sr., who died in 1997.
Mrs. Vleck was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing tennis, baking, cutting grass, visiting Florida, and world travel. Family and friends affectionately referred to her as "Chop."
Surviving are her daughters, Linda Jane Vleck Stone of Westminster, MD and Sandra Lee Vleck of New Windsor, MD; son and daughter-in-law, Franklin V. Vleck, Jr. and Vanessa Bodden Vleck of New Windsor, MD; grandsons, Franklin "Vince" Vleck, III of New Windsor, MD, Clayton Douglas Vleck of New Windsor, MD, Mason Jay Vleck Stone of Fremont, CA, and Jacob Aaron Vleck Stone of Westminster, MD; and three great-grandchildren, Alison, Bethany, and Silas. She was predeceased by her grandson, Benjamin Franklin Vleck Stone, and her son-in-law, Dale Green.
Services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to ELINE FUNERAL HOME, Hampstead, MD.
