Obituary for Robert M. Rybikowsky

Robert M. (Bobby) Rybikowsky, 79, passed away peacefully at home with his wife, Regina (Jeannie) Rybikowsky of 57 years by his side on January 26, 2021.

Born in Baltimore, MD on October 28, 1941, Bobby was the son of Anthony and Helen Rybikowsky. His parents preceded him in death as well as his oldest brother Joe and his wife, Judy of Palm Bay, Florida. A younger brother, Jimmy, also preceded him in death. He is survived by Amanda Rybikowsky, his great niece and her son, Cynfrid, they reside in South Carolina.

Bobby attended Mervo Tech High School for the art curriculum they offered. He went on to graduate from the Maryland College of Art. Following graduation he became a graphic artist and did so his entire professional career.

Bobby was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved dirt bike riding, trapshooting and lazy days at home with his family and friends around the pool. His most memorable trip was to Canada, bear hunting, with his brother Joe and best man, John Hammond. John’s wife, Elmira Hammond, predeceased him.

Many wonderful memories were made as he and his wife Jeannie traveled in their motorhome on countless weekends fishing or seeking out adventures with family friends. He also enjoyed going to casinos and on cruises. Throughout his life he made many friends he considered family.

Bobby will be remembered most by his quiet gentlemanly demeanor, his caring nature, endurance, patience and passion for fighting for life.
