Life Story for Robert Louis "Bob" Morano
Robert Louis “Bob” Morano, 76, of Reisterstown, passed away on August 10, 2019 in Westminster, MD. He was born on April 13, 1943 in Dickson City, PA to the late Richard and Stella Morano. He was married to Cynthia (nee Kraynick) Morano.
Bob was a Captain in the US Army. He had worked at Westinghouse/Northrop Grumman and the New England Carriage House Antique Shop in Reisterstown. His interests included was spending time with his family and friends, golf and traveling, especially to Florida. He was a Little League Umpire and a Reisterstown Rec. Baseball coach, a Youth Minister at Sacred Heart Church and a Eucharist Minister. He was also involved in the Sponsor Couples Program.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia (nee Kraynick) Morano, son Robert M. Morano and his wife Mia of Portland, OR; son Steven E. Morano and his wife Tricia of Finksburg, MD; grandchildren Steven E. Morano, Jr and Sadie M. Morano; siblings Tony Stanitz of Washington, DC, Richard Morano of Rochester, NY and Gregory Morano of Jupiter, FL. Predeceased by siblings Audrey Kman, Shirley Mancia and Phyllis Cunningham.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road (at Franklin Blvd.) on Thursday, August 22, 2019, 3-5 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 23, 2019, 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Reisterstown, MD 21136. Interment in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
