Obituary for Richard T. Brien
On Sunday, March 5, 2023, Richard T. Brien, 88, passed away. He was the loving husband of Lois A. Brien (Savard). Richard was born on May 27, 1934 in Brockton, MA to Claire B. (Deslaurier) and Thomas E. Brien.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 10 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Reisterstown, MD, 21136. Burial will be at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 West Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD 21035 at 12:30 pm.
In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his children, Richard T. Brien III, Kimberly A. Coon and her husband Curtis, Mark J. Brien and his wife Patty, and Susan E. Spedden and her husband William; grandchildren, Michael, Christopher (Juliann), Joseph (Stephanie), Ashley (John), Annalise (Shayne), Stephen (Cassandra), Nicole (Dylan), Brandon (Jordyn), Sophie, and Emily; great grandchildren, Lilliana, Shayne, Jack, and Eliana. He is also survived by his sisters, Jeanne Florio (Ricky), Donna Sullivan Miller (Loren), and Polly Lindstrom (Jim), brother-in-law Frank Yanni, and sisters-in-law Toni Brien and Claire Franchetti. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Dolores Yanni and Leo Brien, and by one granddaughter, Jamie. Richard is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
