Phyllis V. Nichols, 92, of Catonsville, MD passed away on July 30, 2020 at her home. She was born on December 27, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Philip S. and Laura Virginia (nee Wagner) Hahn. She was married to the late J. Harvey Nichols and the late Stanley R. Uppercue.
Phyllis had worked with Sears as a Customer Service Manager. She was a member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church and of the Eastern Star Woodlawn Chapter #101. She was a hospice volunteer in Delaware and a volunteer with Catonwood @ Charlestown Retirement Community. She enjoyed sewing, especially quilts which she made for Project Linus.
She is survived by her daughter Jo Ann England and her husband Bob of Baltimore; daughter Barbara L. Outten of Brooklyn Park; granddaughter Jennifer L. DiPietro and her husband Tom of Millersville; daughter in law Betty Swigert of Jupiter, FL; great grandchildren Nicholas and Maggie.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, 6pm to 9pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, 11am at the funeral home and will also be available to stream live via webcast. (Link below and on the Photos & Video page)
Interment in Deer Park Cemetery.
