Philip Lee Schubert (“Phil”), 50, of Hampstead, passed away on January 12, 2023. Born July 16, 1972, he was the husband of Kathy Demise Schubert. He was a 1990 graduate of Westminster High School and a Gulf War veteran serving in Operation Desert Storm. He worked at Verizon as a Cable Splicer for 22 years. He enjoyed fishing with his daughters, playing softball, and cheering for the Redskins. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters Jordan Margaret Schubert and Kylee Michelle Schubert, stepchildren Jamie DiPasquale and Jimmy Bayne (Jenny), grandchildren Anthony Gunther, Jameson Bayne, and Josana Bayne, father Chuck Schubert (Jean), mother Deborah Schubert, brothers Steven Schubert (Stacy) and Craig Schubert (Beth), stepsister Rachel Snow (Justin), aunts Tootie Harris, Donna Miller, Barbie Martin, and Carol Naurot; uncle Carroll Harris (Gerri), and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his aunt Mary Scarpati and uncle Billy Harris. A dinner to follow at the VFW Post 467, 519 Poole Rd, Westminster, MD 21157.
