Obituary for Paul H. "Paul McCarthy" Baschke Jr.
Paul H. Baschke Jr., aka Paul McCarthy was born June 19, 1949 and passed away on February 25, 2020 in Brooksville, Florida at the age of 70 after a long illness.
He was adopted by the late Paul H. Baschke Sr. and the late Bernadette Baschke.
Paul grew up in Baltimore, Maryland in a very loving Catholic home; attended Catholic schools and graduated from City College in 1967. He was a contractor in the marble and granite business. He lived in Manasquan, New Jersey until he moved to Spring Hill, Florida and eventually retired. Paul had a love for music; enjoyed being a DJ and was a comedic soul.
He was married to Gloria (VanDusen) Baschke, the late Susan Wallach, and Lori McCarthy.
He is survived by his children from his first marriage, Paul H. Baschke III and daughter-in-law Tressa Baschke, and Bonnie Nickoles and son-in-law Patrick Nickoles, his eight grandchildren; Joshua, Christopher, Nicholas, Ashleigh, Miranda, MacKenzie, John and Zachary and a great grandson, Brentley, his step-children from his second marriage, Simone and Michael Winer, and his sister and brother-in-law Deborah (Baschke) and Lawrence Lockwood. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family has decided to cancel the visitation scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2020 due to the current circumstances surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Thank you for your understanding.
Family will be having a private interment.
