Patricia Hurley Stansbury died peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Donald Stansbury, previously of Hamden, her parents Grayson Levi Hurley and Sarah Mills Hurley, her brothers Grayson Lee Hurley and William “Billy John” Hurley, her sister Carol Hurley and her sister in-law Terry Jo Hurley all from the Eastern Shore. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Stansbury of Reisterstown, her nephews Brian and Patrick Hurley, her nieces Kalee and Tonie Hurley, her sister in-law Fay Hurley and her 4 great nieces and nephews.

Pat was born December 12, 1939 in Cambridge, Maryland and graduated from Cambridge High School. She received a scholarship to attend The Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Easton Maryland. After graduation, Pat worked her entire career as a registered nurse at Spring Grove Psychiatric Hospital. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, watching her beloved Orioles and Ravens and spoiling the dogs she had throughout the years.

A public visitation will be held on Friday January 27 from 1:00 PM to 2: 00 PM at the Eline Funeral Home,11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136. Graveside services will follow at 2:30PM at Lakeview Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784.
