Obituary for Nancy Zepp Burnside

Nancy Z. Burnside, 74, of New Oxford, PA and formerly of Upperco, MD passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at the Brethren Home-Cross Keys Village in New Oxford.

Born June 6, 1945 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late George William and Avis Elizabeth Butts Zepp. She was the wife of the late Howard Lawrence "Larry" Burnside, who passed away February 15, 2019.
Prior to retirement, Mrs. Burnside had worked as a library associate for the Carroll County Public Library. She was a member of Covenant of Grace Presbyterian Church in Reisterstown. She enjoyed a love of her Lord and Savior, gardening, and reading.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Paul W. and Karalyn Burnside of Upperco; daughter and son-in-law, Karen B. and Bill Fosbenner; grandchildren Rachel Fosbenner and Zachary Fosbenner, all of Beesleys Point, NJ; and brother, William A. Zepp of Upperco, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. The family will also receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Her pastor, the Rev. Dr. Herbert Ruby, III will officiate. Interment will follow in Hampstead Cemetery.
