Obituary for N. Brian Purcell
Nicholas Brian Purcell, 50, of West Virginia, formerly of Reisterstown passed away. He was born on July 29, 1971 in Baltimore, MD to John J. Purcell, Jr. and Anita Kathleen Tedesco Purcell.
Brian graduated from Franklin High School in 1989 and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Frostburg State University. He worked as a salesperson in fleet fuel management systems. Brian was a lifetime member of the NRA and enjoyed time on the range with his friends. He loved sports, and for much of his life, was an avid New England Patriots fan. Brian was a loving, caring, thoughtful, and loyal son, brother, uncle, Godfather, and friend. He loved his aunts, uncles, cousins, and his cat Bette.
He is survived by his parents John J. Purcell, Jr. and Anita Kathleen Purcell, brother John J. Purcell III and wife Caroline Sullivan Purcell; niece Madeleine Grace Purcell and nephew John Francis “Jack” Purcell. Also survived by in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends and their families.
Family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 3-5 & 7-9pm at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:30pm during the Friday evening visitation.
A funeral Mass will be held in private in Florida.
