Obituary for Mildred Jones (Whitcomb)
Mildred (Dolly) Jones, 79, of Taneytown passed away on January 28, 2021 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on April 25, 1941 in Baltimore City, Maryland to the late Joseph Leon and Mary Louise Whitcomb. She was married to the late Thomas P. Jones, Sr.
Mildred worked as a server in the restaurant business.
She is survived by children, Aaron Whitcomb and his wife Cindy, William Whitcomb and his wife Cindy, Louise Shaw and her husband Jimmy, Tina Delaney, Terry Whitcomb, Tom Jones and his wife Melissa, Timmy Jones and his wife April, her brother, Joe Whitcomb and his wife Sue and sister, Lois Whitcomb. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was predeceased by her son Butchie Whitcomb and 7 siblings.
Due to Covid restrictions, visitation and services are private. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery.
