Michael Scott Curtis

On April 14, 2020 Michael Scott Curtis passed away at his home in Reisterstown. He is survived by his loving wife Lisa (nee Wells) Curtis. He was the son of Harry Curtis and the late Betty Curtis; father of Brian Curtis & fiancé Amber Bollinger, and Patrick Curtis & fiancé Megan Donovan; step-father of Libby, Bradley and Mallory Brown; brother of Thomas Curtis; uncle of Heather, Luke, & Zach Curtis.

Michael was a career firefighter working his way up to rank of Captain. He was stationed at several stations throughout Baltimore County, most notably Brooklandville (#14), Pikesville (#2), Towson (#1) & Franklin (#56). He was well respected by his co-workers and was fortunate to run fire calls with his father, sons and brother.

Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved camping, the Orioles, and enjoying Cigar Hour. He loved the Boy Scouts and was a Scout Leader. He was so proud of his two sons and their accomplishments. Michael especially loved spending special time riding his motorcycle with Lisa.

Mr. Mike was everything I ever dreamed of in a future father in-law. Since the day I met him, he welcomed me into the family with open arms. He raised the man of my dreams and did a dang good job. I will forever cherish the memories I had with him and continue to honor him with everything I do. Keep an eye on your boys! You will be missed.

I am broken hearted to lose such a dear friend. So many memories of our times together with our boys. Calvary Lutheran school Fall Festivals, Spring Fairs, Bingos. Mike was always there to help with a smile on his face. There simply are no words to express my sorrow to,his family and friends. He was a great man and will never be forgotten. Prayers for peace to all. Treasure the wonderful memories of our times with Mike.
