Mary Jane Wickline, 78, of Hampstead, passed away on April 4, 2023 in at Golden Crest Assisted Living in Hampstead, MD.
Born on November 27, 1944 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Sterling and Blanche (Rummell) Bixler. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas P. Wickline, Sr., and sisters, Maxine Diane Wagaman and Dolly Bixler.
Mary Jane worked as a System Analyst for Random House for 33 years until her retirement and then at Petals Flowers & Gifts part time for an additional 10 years. She was an active member of the Hampstead American Legion Post 200. Mary Jane was proud to serve as a Past President of Post 200s Auxiliary.
Mary Jane loved tending to her garden at her and Thomas' beloved home and she cherished the many great trips and travels they had together. Mary Jane also loved her weekend trips with her sisters to Ocean City, Maryland and spending time with her grand daughters any chance she could. Mary Jane would think of any reason to get her family together, especially around the holidays. May Jane was also a lifelong Elvis fan.
Mary Jane is survived by her three sons, Thomas P Wickline, Jr. and wife Jeannie of Hampstead, MD, Richard J Wickline and wife Rose of Hampstead, MD, Jeffrey S Wickline and wife Michelle of Upperco, MD; three sisters, Johnetta Lee Miller of Hanover, PA, Darlene Becker of Lakeland, FL, Debra Utz of Hanover, MD, and brother, Jack Bixler of FL. In addition she is survived by her four beloved granddaughters, Christy Mann and husband Corey, Caroline Ayers and husband Jacob, Renee Wickline, Jodie Wickline; and three great-grandsons, Colby Wyatt Mann, Hudson John Mann, Jamison Eli Mann.
The family invites friends for visitation Saturday, April 8, 2023, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead, MD 21074.
Funeral services will be held following the conclusion of the visitation at 12:00 pm at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Bill Smith officiating.
Graveside services will be held following in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, where Mary Jane will be laid to rest beside her beloved Husband Thomas.
