Obituary for Mary Carole A. Lehukey
On January 26, 2023, Mary Carole, "MC" A. (nee Parr) Lehukey, 87 passed away. She was the wife of 70 years to Edward L. Lehukey. She was born on June 12, 1935 in Baltimore City, MD to Grace (nee Define) and John Edward Parr. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Steven E. Lehukey, Sherry Alban and Cindy Williams, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Joanne Jones and Kathy Morris.
Mary Carole was the queen of Thrifting. She was sharp on how to look sharp - without paying retail! An avid fan of the Orioles and Ravens, she would follow every game with her same superstitions. MC loved flowers - especially hydrangeas. She could propagate cuttings into mature bushes with ease, She would read multiple books a week with no over-due library fees. MC loved playing cards and scrabble. She spent many of years with her Card Club and her Sorority. Always "on-stage" to tell a joke or two, she would energize a room with her genuine smile, humor, and grace. Her own quotes have been used many times over-and will continue forever. A woman of deep faith, her believe was evident in her love for others.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 pm Wednesday and the funeral mass will be Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Sacred Heart Church, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD 21071 at 11 am.
