Obituary for Margaret C. "Tootie" Kelleher (Ely)
Margaret ‘Tootie’ C. Kelleher, 92, of Reisterstown passed away on January 5, 2020 in Westminster, MD. She was born on September 3, 1927 in Baltimore, MD to the late David Burlin and Margaret Catherine (nee Chenoweth) Ely. She was married to Thomas Dorgan Kelleher for 72 years.
Margaret worked as a switchboard operator with C & P Telephone and as an Instructional Aid with Baltimore County Public Schools for many years.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Dorgan Kelleher of Reisterstown; daughter Kathleen Ann Gambrill of Reisterstown; son Thomas David Kelleher of San Diego, CA; grandsons Evan Gambrill, Kent Gambrill and Clifford Gambrill; great grandsons Thomas Gambrill and Shepherd Gambrill. Predeceased by her sister Marian A. Constantine.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 4pm to 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 9, 2020, 11am at Sacred Heart Church, Glyndon, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Reisterstown, MD 21136.
