Obituary for M. Colleen Eysaman (Poore)

Mildred Colleen Eysaman, 89, of Reisterstown, MD passed away peacefully on December 13, 2021 at home, surrounded by family. Colleen was born on September 1, 1932 in Embreeville, Tennessee, daughter of James Poore and Etta Simmons Poore. She was the loving and devoted wife of her late husband Willard “Bill” Eaton Eysaman for more than 58 years.
Colleen worked for the Black and Decker corporation, where she met her husband, Bill. Colleen and Bill both retired from Black & Decker/DeWalt in the mid-90s, which afforded them the opportunity to travel extensively. Together they spent many of the cold months in Florida, traveling in their motor home (they went through 3, each one getting larger). They often traveled with Art and Annette Withington of Lander, WY and lifelong friends, Jackie and Stan Gingrich of Chambersburg, PA. They were able to stop and visit with many friends and family along their way. In the warmer months, at their home of more than 57 years in Reisterstown, MD, Colleen loved to spend time gardening and looking after her many flowers and plants. She especially enjoyed cooking big family meals during the holidays, with homemade cookies for dessert. Above all, Colleen loved her family and cherished spending time with her two grandchildren. Birthdays and holiday celebrations throughout the year were cherished moments to get together and spend time with family and friends.

Colleen is survived by her sons, Brian Eysaman of Reisterstown, MD and Keith Eysaman (Kimberley) of Westminster, MD and her grandchildren, Spencer and Parker Eysaman.

The family will be welcoming friends for a visitation at the Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 11am-12pm. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 12:00pm. Interment will be private at Druid Ridge Cemetery following the service.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Colleen’s honor to BridgingLife Hospice, 200 Memorial Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157 (phone: 410-871-8000).
