Obituary for Loretta C. McCusker
On February 18, 2023 Loretta C. McCusker of Reisterstown, MD passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Joseph Izdebski and the late Sophia (nee Jakubiak) Izdebski. Beloved wife of the late Paul Curran McCusker and devoted mother of Paul J. McCusker (wife Becky), Mary Colleen Parker (husband Gordon), Michael G. McCusker, Sr., and Patrick S. McCusker (wife Mary Lee). Loving sister of Angela Morgereth, Christy Izdebski, and the late Julie Longuemare (husband Noel). Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Loretta was known for her remarkable thoughtfulness and friendliness, which continued to draw people to her over the course of her entire life. She loved to have fun, and to provide clever entertainment by means of her sharp, dry wit. She was both an avid reader of mystery novels and an ardent solver of crossword puzzles. A lifelong Catholic, she actively lived out her faith and had a particular devotion to the Blessed Mother. She was extraordinarily charitable, and contributed much time, treasure and effort to provide solace to the needy and the sorrowful. She was a role model to many, and all who she touched will remember her with fondness.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home 11824 Reisterstown Road Reisterstown, MD 21136 on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Church 63 Sacred Heart Lane Glyndon, MD 21071 on Friday at 11:00 A.M. Interment to be held at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Garrison Forest 11501 Garrison Forest Road Owings Mills , MD 21117 on March 6th at 1:00 P.M. Those desiring may make contributions to the Missionaries of Charity 818 N. Collington Avenue Baltimore, MD 21205.
