Karen (Kerry) Eleanor Newberrey, 73, of Reisterstown, MD passed away on January 18, 2020. Born October 13, 1946 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Katherine (McKewen) Panuska

Kerry was a graduate of Eastern High School class of 1964, where she graduated with honors. Her family remembers her as a kind, caring and loving person who didn't have a mean bone in her body. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

I met Kerry through Dave. She was always very nice and a sweet lady. Event though I was allergic to them, I always pet her cats. I remember she had a little sports car (Spitfire possibly) that Dave and I...borrowed, it was fast. She will always have a place in my heart. My thoughts, prayers and sympathies for her family and friends.

What do you say about your mom in something like this, to those that knew her I really don’t have to say anything the way she lived said it all. My mom was without a doubt the sweetest and most loving person I have ever known, from the love she showed as a mother to us boys who definitely pushed her to her limits at times, to the career path she chose in the medical field and her desire to always help others, her love of animals especially cats and all the work with animal rights and charities. Throughout all the tests life had put her through from hardships to medical issues her love and desire to always be there for anyone who needed her never wavered. There are simply no words to describe how I feel without her here. I love and miss you more then words can express. I am truly heartbroken!

My mom was the sweetest, kindest person I've ever know. I was twice her size but she still thought of me as her little boy. A mother love is unconditional but I pushed those limits. For the last 14 years I've spent everyday trying to make her life great. She called me Dans and waited for me to call on my way home. When I called she was so happy to hear I was on my home, we would sit and watch tv have lunch and dinner together then watch jeopardy and the wheel of fortune. Most people see me as gruff but she knew I am a soft heart that needed her to protect me and she did. Mom I will love you forever and I hope you are with Daisy I know how much you loved and missed your little girl cat. I will see you again I promise.
